That portfolio site is neat @HostDoc

Pretty sure @crack is trolling, nobody in their right mind would claim these deals are either not competitive or unaffordable (unless your budget is capped at $11.11 per year)

It is really high and unacceptable

Been watching their site for a few days, didn't find anything new to be honest. Its just the same as yesterday. Unless I am missing something here.

No, there is nothing new. As mentioned in the OP, it is the same offer posted on HB a while ago.

I just don't see the reason to post it but to just perk up interest. Not really offer anything new. Anyway, I'm still on the look out for your SG servers. seeing you post here made me excited but left me disappointed. Just my 2 cents.

  • No AMD stuff at HostDoc at this moment

  • It's not a scientific measurement, but I personally use this measure to quickly tell if I am getting good value for my money. The latest hostdoc offers are really good value.. don't wait!

  • Just the warm-up exercises?

My best estimate is that the upcoming exercises would be much more sweaty.

Will there be series that would beat the deal of the year, the kc3-kansas?

Let's see. My method can rank a $1 VPS higher than $7 depending on what the specs are. Hopefully there will be such a deal ๐Ÿ˜›

I thought I saw a hostdoc Ryzen 39 offer here?

We have never had the Ryzen as part of our server line up unfortunately. However, it seems very popular so it may be added in the near future.

There are many people who are either not aware of our promotional sites or do not check in regularly to see the new offers.
It is also a huge cluster of offers and can become hard to navigate. With this offer, I simply highlight the best available offers that have/had not gone out of stock.

(@HostDoc: How dare you post a BF warm-up offer? My sympathies  )

All available plans have taken into account leaving adequate resources for black Friday offers.
Which plan are you referring to anyway please?

We actually had a much better offer in Kansas when the node was launched. We will see if this offer can be topped come BF but it will be hard.

So far for black Friday, we do have a BOGOF event planned for the whole day for purchases from our main site.
There will also be single promotional plans available also via the megathread.

Am looking forward to your BF offers.

I would suggest you try the following:

    a. Raise a ticket or PM @HostDoc.

    b. Be nice, if possible offer proper explanation on why the order could be marked as fraud. Reference your order number to your LET handle.

    c. The good part is, this is the period of calm before the BF storm. The Doc and his team of medical specialists may be willing to take a second look.

Which course you take in (a) is optional

    (b) is a must

    (c) is upto the Doc and their team, really

In my experience, the above worked 4 out of 5 times with providers on LET.

I have indeed created a ticket and was request verification for addresss. I have never provide that before so I give up... or another reason to calm down and avoid an idling box...

You can do very little with a Raspberry Pi. HostDoc's offer can easily host the LET forum and you can still put a few blogs on it, run a Nextcloud etc. You can't do that with the Raspberry Pi.

Oh you are talking about the OVZ7 plan. That's quite good too but not as good because the main disk is HDD. If you have a busy website using MariaDB or mySQL than you will see the problems soon. Better to have SSD at least, and nvme is even better.

Thank you, poisson, for your patient and detailed reply.

I've seen you did a lot testing and benchmarking articles. Are you going to publish a yearly comparison report in your website after the BF-CM season for user guide?

I intend to put out a page where people can find all the boxes I've evaluated end of the year so that in fue, it will be a handy reference next year to see what were the best deals this year. I used to have the problem of not being able to find old deals to compare and I want LowEndBoxes Review to solve this problem too.
