less than 100 kvm remaining (from the 250 instant activation) the rest orders will be activated in maxium 2 weeks (i wait for some ram delivery ....)

is noted and we had a task including for some windows template , the problem is is a new module for us and i dont want to jump in problems any more and receive 9999 tikets , we need many time until we can add a new template , we need to create it fully functionaly , after this test it for a long period , etc etc. But i can promise will came many moore templates in the near future.

  • jsg said: cociu manages to enhance his support to a at least mediocre level HS might become a large favourite of many.

with this module we receive maximum 10 tikets/day so ... all day have time to take caffe and sisters .. is a pleasure to work with this conditions. Is true we still have 140 tikets (old ones ) wich half of them is related to the network problem wich is fixed yet ... so still need some days to be good.

Sounds good but I think ISOs would be good enough.

  • Yeah I also got a dedicated server email template but it was ok, I just smiled. Please don't increase the bandwidth allowance. I'd rather that the heavy seeders not use this plan, so that us regular users still have decent network. I'm happy with the OS template selection (deb10). I may try to figure out how to rejigger the disk partitioning so I can dmcrypt most of it. I hope that doesn't hose the cpu too much. The storage will be mostly inactive long term backups once I transfer the stuff there.

i dont have any plan in this .. we offer the other kvm 1tb hdd in another price for this. This offer is like is (i have reduced the ram also intencionately to have the possibility to run scripts dedicated to backup not for a huge production)

Edit : for the price/spec i think is the best/cheap 1tb kvm ... So i hope the people will enjoy it.

just to mention and send a BIG thanks to all our affiliates because we see a huge participation in this offer (i know 1 eur/order is nothing but we had for exemple a affiliate account who was sell today until now 31 kvm so .. a total of 31 eur in some hours) also in this case you give something back to your visitators.

  • This is a great offer. Is it possible to merge multiple into one if I order several of it?

Sorry, please ignore me. You have answered this question in the previous reply.

    Edit: or any other crypto

My plan now is to SSHFS these boxes with a higher spec European server for a beast. That's how I think is the best to use it if you are not using these boxes for cold/inactive storage.

Sharing some storage lovin' with your other boxes via SSHFS?

Given the specs of the box, that's the most logical choice if not plain simple long term storage.

As far as I know, no. There have been some benchmarks posted. Use those for reference.

    Thanked by 1bdl
  • I just did a reinstall (came with CentOS instead of my option of Debian when signing up but reinstall is just a few clicks) and my personal initial server housekeeping and hardening. I don't have the time to run anything else, but the overall the experience on SSH is buttery smooth. Maybe I won't SSHFS the boxes but test their performance as proper web servers or seedboxes (within reasonable limits). Right now I don't feel much of a difference between Hostsolutions and other of the better LET providers I have used. Great work, @cociu!
