    Today I've receive email from CycloneServers and told me servers price will be increasing to $3.90/m .

    That time team offer 45.00% Recurring Discount, normal price is $3.50/m, after discount price is $1.92/m, but you want to increase the price to $3.90/m !

    Do you know what is the words "Recurring Discount"? Why you can increase price in our Recurring Discount order. I want to know that does it's break the rules?

  • Hahaha this is awesome.

    Step 1: offer 40% off
    Step 2: wait for suckers to sign up
    Step 3: double the price and refer to unfair TOS
    Step 4: count the dollars

    Can't you do the calculations before you decide to offer a 40% discount on your services?

  • Increase prices for opteron 6272? No thanks mate!

    damn I’d kill for a 10 GIGABYTE per second connection.

    10 GBps != 10 Gbps

    (bit != byte)

  • So after 25th the price for this 40% OFF is possible to be 400% ON ?

    I guess he needs the extra $1.58+$0.40 for that UK expension. Also the use of found is hilarious.

    Hey guys we found these customers underpaying after we gave them the opportunity to underpay.

    Currently, in Dallas, we are not sustainable to keep this location open due to poor sales.

    We try to up the prices and still provide a discount but that has caused more harm than good. Starting Price for 1GB in Dallas is $6.00/m we were still proving a discount of 40% off of the base price.

    Since it's a big deal that the client was going to be charged $1.98 more a month We will be honoring the discount for this client that the email was sent to until we can no longer provide services in the Dallas location.

    As for the UK expansion, this has been canned due to the poll why do you think we asked for everyone's opinion?

    Imagine basing your expansion on a poll on lowendtalk of all places.

    Bud,
    from one small provider to another,

    Don't expand if your current locations aren't sustainable and loss leaders are great. But, those should be limited promo and not to a point where the $$ don't equal to your expectations. It is hard to build reputation and it is harder to rebuild.

    Did you only send the email to one client?
    Or are you reverting the price changes of every client who received an email?
