edited September 2019 in Requests

Hi there!

Looking for a provider, who can provide a small VPS for a year with a normal price and the following requirements:

  • unlimited traffic for that VPS (min. 100 Mbps)
  • any processor, RAM, disk (HDD/SSD)
  • only KVM virtualization

Budget: $25 per year. P.S Do you have a website, who provides a providers offers?

60 TB monthly traffic (unlimited at 100Mbps in+out) for ~1 EUR/USD per month?
I think slightly raising your budget to a sustainable level might help finding an offer.
Or specifying more precisly how much traffic you actually need.

Yup! He should increase his budget little bit more..
Also if it's legal traffic then I don't thik he needs unlimited traffic on a budget VPS

Up to 5 TB maximum. Where did you get 60 TB?

    It is called math.
You mentioned unlimited traffic and you need minimum 100 Mbit/s.

    100 Mbit/s * SecondsPerDay * DaysPerMonth * 2 which is roughly 500 TBit or 60 TByte.

If you only need 5 TB/month, you should mention that. Otherwise unlimited might imply, well, unlimited at requested speed. ;)

But I still doubt 1 buck will be sustainable for 5 TB traffic.

HostHatch recently had a promotion offer with a KVM VPS and 5 TB traffic in London & Chicago at only $15/year, but that party ended 5 days ago.

If you are looking for unsustainable offers, you may need to wait for Black Friday where you will most likely find some.

Raised budget. What about a traffic - I have a small VPS in Russia with 1 Gbps and unlim traffic. You are wrong about the amount of traffic and requests. Not 60 TB, max 5-10 TB.

  • eh ... https://speedykvm.com/

    DAL-VOL 0
    1 (E3-1230 3.2Ghz)
    256MB ECC
    12GB HDD - Raid 0 YOLO!
    10TB @ 1gbps

3 years for $36 - oh, but it's out of stock (just checked)

    welp. I got nothing.

I do believe it will be more than 15TB, as one of our customer managed to use 5TB within 7 days

  • North said: a website, who provides a providers offers?

    https://serverhunter.com

But do check reviews (ask here) so you don't get ripped off - when you look for the cheapest, you're quite likely to get scammed (since the low price is generally not sustainable for a serious business).

anyway good luck with your budget!

  • @North your budget is really tight.

I can only think about 2 options that are close but above your expectation:

    • Kimsufi VPS SSD 1, 100Mbps @ $3.35/month;

    • Netcup VPS 200 G8, 1Gbps (40TB) @ 2.69€/month;

    Good luck ;-)

  • I do see some offers on @HostDoc's flash sale page offering small KVMs with "unlimited bandwidth" for £18 per year ... I would expect some fine print in the TOS ("fair use" - or whatever) to prevent excessive use but 5 TB per month should be fine.

There's also Hetzner cloud which (if I remember correctly) allows up to 20 TB per month for €2.50

Thanks for the mentions but I'm not giving 100Mbit/sec unmetered for $2.00/month.

Contabo vps for 4.99 EUR, 200mb/s 9 days then it's capped to 100mb/s (if you use max port speed 24/7

  • Scaleway 3 EUR/mo for 100 mbit unmetered.

  • Why don't we try viridweb.com ? They put unmetered bandwidth, and please come and make a review after 6 months. Not just hit and run

Considering it is Hetzner, it's unlikely he would let him use 100Mbps+ 24/7 on a shared port with lots of other customers unless everyone idles.

  • hi you don't have special requirements for location Possible you can check Macedonian dedicated server offer from Local isp.

  • have you looked at hetzner cloud or ovh cloud vps as below?
