servaRICA: Storage VPS Now With 3X Disk Space For The Same Price

servarica_haniservarica_hani Member, Patron Provider

Hi LET,

In March 2019 we did a Storage VPS offer with 500GB of space .
We have upgraded our SAN storage capacity and decided this month to upgrade the offer with 3X the space (users who got the old offer will be offered the extra space for free to match the new offer)

Now the new offer has 1.5TB of disk space

Not only that
it is **unlimited **bandwidth

and the CPU is **dedicated **so you can abuse it as you wish.

This is Xen based VPS (similar to KVM if you are unfamiliar with Xen)

here are the specs of the new offer

Big Storage LET Special X3
1.5TB disk space
1GB RAM
1 CPU core dedicated
unlimited transfer
100mbps vps port
1x IPv4
IPv6 available by request
$7$/month

Order here https://servarica.com/clients/cart.php?a=add&pid=404

search about us if you are not familiar with us we have been around for a long time.

Thanks

    Nice provider.

Had been with them since 2014.

    saw only two major downtime.

1 - Once their Node crashed fully, which was restored .

2 - Second when their providers fiber got cut.

Live chat support is very good, staff knows what exactly they are doing.

For windows they only have Windows server 2008 Licenses.

I guess you have been around for a while since this is in your Terms of Service:

at this moment no but we are activly working on it and it should be an option in few days

you can order now if you need the vps urgently and will switch you to 1gbps port with limit or you can wait few days and will update this thread when we have that option

I dont know now how much the limit will be on the 1gbps will need to do the calculations to get it

  • any chance you could post output for "cryptsetup benchmark"

    here are the results

I have the result from another server pool which is almost double the performance but I wont share it since we cant grantee you will be placed on the new pool

So what i posted here is the worst case scenario

Custom ISO is allowed you need to open a ticket with link to it so the admins can mount it for you

for looking glass we dont have one yet will try to install it and update here

our location is in Montreal and just a note we are NOT OVH resellers (we have our own servers and network)

  • I have a ssd service with them and the up time, support and performance is great.

  • I'd also be interested in the gigabit port with a limit if you've made any progress on that.

we dont have issue with torrent in general
if what you host will not generate DCMA/copyright reports we will never look into your VPS

    hope that answer help

Do you log on or mount the file system of the VPS to check for violations or do you just check by seeing if the files are available to download by normal clients, like browser, bittorrent etc?

Logging on to the VPS is a violation of privacy.

We never log to the vps or mount the filesystem even if we want to verify content violations .
the idea is that for us to know if there a content violation someone has to report it with a link to the content and we just check that link

Some cases are really complex to check like when the files behind cloudflare or the protocol used is weird or not easy to check but over the years we have gained experience of how to verify if the file hosted on the VPS without having to look into it.

Also we are super cool with users encrypting their whole disk (some users do it) and actually we encourage it for tech savvy users who know what they are doing .

We are even working on new features to make disk encryption automation which can make us able to offer fully encrypted vms that even us cant open it and the beauty of this solution is that it is reliable and dont have the issue of having to manually enter your password from console when the vm reboot each time

Glad to know that. I remember some of the shadier OpenVZ providers in the early days of LET spying of user files when they didn't have the amount of storage they were promising and claiming that some ISOs they could see were TOS violations even if they weren't available to for public download.

How on earth are you going to achieve that? Automatic decryption means password must be stored and available during boot time. If password is avail, won't you be able to access it? I'm not suggesting that you would but you could.
