VolumeDrive?
Is VolumeDrive at BURST.net's DC?
Indeed.
@dnwk Yes, but they are also in GoRack in Jacksonville, FL
No, they backhaul to them.
There is also Oplink, I think they are around $40. I haven't used them, but have only heard good things.
I think more of kicked out
Dacentec sucks. Almost done with my RTO and ever since that company bought them out, the network has gone baaaaaaaad lately. The only reason I'm around is a few more months of that RTO and I'm gonna GTFO then ship the server to GoRack
i have been using for 1 year + oplink.net. the price i got is $40/month 100mbit port, 1u, 1amp, unmetered ... works amazing. but it seems recently they upped the price to $80/month maybe you can negotiate it down a bit, but definitely they are a great company

Safer to move out quickly when breaking contracts eh?
Got any more specifics on that? I was going to be buying one with them as soon as I see some stock.
So, besides worldstream, who are the cheap single-server colo providers in europe?
Dacentec aquired by Centrilogic

CentriLogic, a trusted provider of international hybrid hosting and data center solutions, has acquired North Carolina data center operator and hosting services provider Dacentec Inc. http://online.wsj.com/article/PR-CO-20130613-909587.html
No, I knew that part. I mean how has their network seemingly got worse? Do you have a before and after tracert maybe? Or can simply tell me if you see any differences in the routes?
You can try out handtake.de for a 50 euro/month 100mbit unmetered 1u
contabo.com for 40euro/month 100mbit unmetered 1u
Well the constant network maintenance emails is one sign
On the other side of the world my friend. Your only luck is LA for good connectivity to Asia
@CNJeremy well, do they really need to arm a datacenter? It is not a movie or a war zone. I don't think anyone would broke into a datacenter unless it is used for [beep].
@Jack so is VolumeDrive only in BurstNET now?
@dnwk GoRack is located inside a federal bank building so that is why security is so high.
I think they were receiving money trucks that day and that's why they had the AR-15's out. I saw a few armored cars at the other end when I was leaving.
@Jack BurstNET is a shed, still, aha. Until they move into their new Scranton DC, unless they already have?
I was under the impression that VD was moving into Busrtnet's Scranton facility from GoRack.
They announced that facility almost at the same exact time as Burstnet did.
From their site:
Looks like an apartment - http://goo.gl/maps/K74nI
Thanks for clearing that up for me.. I never did pay much more attention to it after they moved..
I had just "assumed" that's where they were going.
It must be the one with the window A/C unit.. LOL
@zfedora Turn that camera around, it's the white shed with the blue tarp.

Google that address. First things pop up is a youtube video showing a FBI raid on that location.
