16TB Storage Server for transfer

edited March 2018 in General

I got a special variantof the IOFlood 18TB server during the march madness, unfortunately I won't be renewing it simply because of most of my traffic is coming from EU and I'd prefer to have a server in that location. Their service is top notch so I thought I'd rather offer it here to see if there is any interest.

Specs:

IOFlood
Dual Xeon L5640
48 GB
4 x 4TB HDD (16TB raw storage)
20TB @ 1Gbps

$69 / month - $20 transfer (paypal)

bench results: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/t9Y6kf7FQT/

Let me know if there is any interest.
Thanks

I priced it out, if I was to KVM Raid 0 or no Raid it would be MINIMUM $60/year per TB. $5/month per TB. Interested?

    Something like this looks cool?

    1 Dedicated Core - Xeon L5640
    3GB RAM
    1TB HDD RAID-0
    1TB Bandwidth @ 1Gbps
    $7/m

Yep, Good amount of overhead though, If people are looking for this I would be happy to do it

Unless someone wants little more RAM, there are some better offers like on of HostHatch (with raid) etc!

Server expires on the 11th, let me contact support about the transfer, if you want it earlier you can pay me for the remaining days. I will get back to you. Thanks

I believe it's $5 per additional TB - might be priced differently for storage servers

  • hzrhzr Member

holy crap, that's insanely expensive.. at that rate i'd be buying another server instead of paying for bandwidth

What to do with it? Should I become a provider? It's summer where I live :D
