LowEndTalk v2 vs v3?

I will be phrasing out v2 (OSQA) this week. People won't be able to log in and post questions/answers.
ok, i'll remove my v2 LET bookmark and change to v3 page.
@LowEndAdmin, you will continue to keep v2 around right? For reference?
Maybe move it over to oldv2.lowendtalk.com?
@Xeoncross yes v2 will still be around indefinitely (similar to v1). Some Nginx rewrites should hopefully keep all the links intact.
@drmike yes something like that.
Would posts be moved along to v3?
I doubt it, @Boltersdriveer
@Steve @Boltersdriveer -- I would prefer to move the content over as I do not intend to run an instance of OSQA on this box forever. However the non-trivial part would be mapping the content and mapping the users, which could be done.
What works against me is the amount of time I can put into it.
I don't think there's any easy way to migrate from OSQA to Vanilla...
Probably not but I know Fran asked previously if he could take a shot at it.
@LowEndAdmin an alternative would be to generate an static mirror of the OSQA forum maybe HTTrack in the v2 subdomain. That way there are no resources wasted on Django.
By the way, what are the specs for the new box in Chicago?
Pretty much the same kind of VPS you get from eNetSouth for $15/3 months.
Good idea about doing a static snapshot of OSQA though. Thanks.
