Should I use a residential vpn that uses my ip as a proxy/ whats an alternative?

xxlxxxlx Member

I need residential ip's badly for what Im doing. If I use tuxler, it connects me to other peoples Ip's, and I can use those as a proxy.

Now the site doesnt advertise this, they just say "Residential Vpn". Its pretty obvious though, the connections last a random amount of time, some can last 10 hours, while some last 30 minutes.

When you connect to tuxler, it will find out if you are using a proxy and state "You are not allowed to run Tuxler on a proxy". Now Im in the USA, which is clearly what most people using the service want, Residential ip in the US, to do whatever. I feel like Its kinda stupid to pay and have my ip used as a proxy, while I get places like Kuwait in return.

Ehhh not really to sure what to do. I need an Ip that shows up as a real ISP. It can be in any country in the world, doesnt matter. It can be very slow, doesnt matter. It can go down here or there, I dont mind. It cant be totally rotating every hour though.

Not only stupid but will also get you in deep shit sooner or later. OP please learn a little bit about what you are doing or just quit doing it. Sounds pretty shady anyways and i doubt you are going to get much help here.

not going to find any that don't use your connection in return, at least none that I'm aware of. Definitely wouldn't suggest using one of those services anyways in the U.S. unless you want someone knocking on your door.

  • The solution is simple. Buy a residential account like everyone else does, and pay or convince someone to host it at their place for you.

You may have to ask your mom for an increase to your allowance though. I note that every time we get this question here it's always someone who doesn't want to pay. I'm guessing because they don't have a job yet.

What if I need something near about 100 ip's at the same time. still the same thing as you said, no cheaper way right?

Well, depends. The more jail time you risk the cheaper it gets. Ironically lending your home IP to random strangers is already quite high risk so i fear that might not even discourage you.
