L2TP/IPSec on OpenVZ
As I understand it (and certainly from my attempts), IPSec does not work in OVZ - I believe L2TP alone is possible, but IPSec is the limiting factor. I have got L2TP/IPSec working fine on a KVM in CentOS 6.
So how can SoftEther create a working L2TP/IPSec VPN on OVZ?

I heard it can. I think IPSec is supported in OpenVZ since .32

@jcaleb Thanks, a bit of a blast from the past, eh!
@klikli Ah yes, that might explain it, thanks.
root@ubuntu:~# uname -r 2.6.32-042stab072.10
Does this work with venet or only with veth ?
@Maounique It works with venet using SoftEther. I'm still trying to set it up without SoftEther using @Raymii's tutorial.
@Mark does it work?
@Raymii - I cannot get it to work. I don't know why, but it will not connect. Fine in CentOS 6 using this tutorial though.
What version of OpenSwan are you using @mark?
@klikli I couldn't tell you right now as I don't have it installed, but it's whatever is installed by aptitude in Ubuntu 12.04 as per Raymii's tutorial.
Is it possible to use Racoon instead of OpenSwan to set up L2TP/IPSec in Ubuntu? The version I have successfully set up in CentOS doesn't use OpenSwan at all.
