    Thanks, already 2400+ servers deployed.

    Small Dashboard Update:

Bigger Patch planned for end of this week/next week.

Which basically makes it possible to offer 2 kinds of gameservers.

    • Laze: Runs as long a Player is on the Server, Data will be saved for up to 14 Days.
    • Active: Runs as long the Account has enough points (24/7), if the account runs out of points, the server gets switched to Laze.

You can upgrade your server from Laze to Active if needed.

We pushed some updates since my latest post:

    • Automated updates for Garry's Mod are in place
    • We added a new Location: Poland
    • All available versions of Vanilla and Spigot have been added to Minecraft.
    • We increased the storage for Garry's Mod to 15GB instead of 10GB.

    Have fun.

    Well 1x i7 and 1x i5, I put the i7 into FireFly.

The i5 is currently just mining monero.

A few changes since my last post:

    • You can upgrade any Minecraft or Factorio server with just 2 clicks
    • Factorio is now available in our Poland location
    • The disk usage is now visible in the panel.

    Have fun.

If you want a Game or a specific version of Game to be added to FireFly, let me know.

    Killing Floor (1 not 2).

    Thanks.

  • interesting concept, altho i neither play any of those games i think this could be extended to almost any type of gameserver :)
... stop giving me ideas ;)

  • @Neoon Out of curiosity, how often do you get new stock?

Depends on the Game, Minecraft is usually most of them time out of stock.

Factorio is mostly always in stock.

I would like to put more minecraft servers on these dedis, but they only have 16GB of Memory, thats a bottleneck.

Understandable, its a very generous thing to do.

I've been looking around as my kids want to run a server with the Novus Remix mods which requires 3-4GB ram (and ideally wants to be running off an SSD which my Online.net Dedi doesn't have) for them and some of their friends. As well as just a plain server.

I will keep an eye out for a Minecraft one, I'm curious to see if France, Norway or Poland will be better for Germany.

Well, Poland has SSD + highest clock speed, so I guess the best option to go for.

Maybe we can get more memory in our Poland box, so we could offer 1-2GB Minecraft servers.

On the other hand, I wanted more games.

@Neoon you could also do 512MB servers, just enough for 20+- players and 10 plugins on spigot +-

also pm me, i might have something interesting for you

Any possibility of selling the source code for private use? :)

Well, we do not make any, we only resell them, but currently out of stock.

I am waiting for a new batch from our seller, should come here in a few weeks.

New Factorio releases are available now within 15 minutes after release.

We also did fixed a upgrade bug, which made it Impossible to upgrade in certain situations.

  • I think there's a bug:

The Error message its not a bug, it works as intended.

The API needs authentication if you want to fetch data like available locations and versions, so if you have no token to auth, you get no data.

Usually everyone gets a Token assigned, but if you request a new Token to often you get blocked, or if you using a VPN.

  • Does the game management daemon is written in Python? I will try to replicate your system. Nice idea, thank you.

You could use a deamon and make your life more complicated, or you could use existing stuff.

Python is a scripting language. Why would you even want to do it in Python, whilst there are tons of way better solutions that offer you more control which is something you need with something like a deamon.
