Found cheap VPS in Poland

Through some ad I found a crazy cheap KVM VPS in Poland, so obviously I bought it.

By crazy cheap I mean ~0.25EUR / month + TAX

https://www.nazwa.pl/vps/

  • 1 vCore (E5 at 2.2GHz)
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 25 GB SSD

Big downside is almost everything on the way is in polish.

Some tests:

wget -qO- bench.sh | bash

And it seems there are some network limits (packet per second I think) that when you reach, your connection speed gets limited :(

I think it should work for mumble.

Protip: use your spam e-mail. They are well known for sending newsletters promoting their shit offers. Be sure to uncheck "Wyrażam zgodę na otrzymywanie informacji handlowych od nazwa.pl", as this one allows them to send you basically spam.

Also be prepared that this is only one year promo, not recurring! So prepay for the whole year.

Edit: If anybody needs a help with registration & ordering, tag me on Discord (@MrPsycho) I'll help you.

So that's the stereotype of Poles? I'm pretty surprised because our country is pretty clear (compared to eg. Italy, which has mess on streets) and our citizens are usually clean too. Dunno if you misunderstood us as our's southern neighbours.

Exactly. You can't just let it idle for 1 month, you need to go for the full year.

Not that I am aware of, actually. It was just a drive-by insult. The usual joke is "Polish are dumb", which has been perpetuated for so long that it isn't even funny for 80s sitcom reruns. Nice insult for Italy, though!

  • @atheros this is lifetime pricing?

  • no it's not, I guess by the time you'll need to renew, that price will be higher. I got the cheapest one for a year for mumble and maybe IRC bouncer - if the price changes, it won't be very painful to change servers

    Poland.

No. Choose "Stany Zjednoczone" which is the United States in Polish...

  • I can only see 0.99 Euro/month as the minimum plan. Am I missing something ?

  • There’s apparently an option to get additional IPv4.
By default this is = 0.
Is there an IPv4 included in standard delivery or only IPv6?

I think an IPv4 is included.

    It is.

  • I contacted with nazwa several months ago and, those prices are only for first year in next year it will be 10x more

  • Seems good for doing DNS Redundancy or running something like a PiHole server. Thanks!

  • Why the hell do I only see EUR 0.99/month ?
    Where's ~0.25EUR/month as OP mentioned ?

  • gurugrv said: Why the hell do I only see EUR 0.99/month ? Where's ~0.25EUR/month as OP mentioned ?

    That's 0,99 PLN not EUR.

  • I ordered it, it's paid, but I don't have the credentials for doing login into the VPS Panel.

    Am I missing something?

  • Probably the SSH keys mentioned above.

You should get those details in e-mail. Just like with any other host. Search for "Potwierdzenie założenia serwera"
