Looking for small, high traffic VPS offerings worldwide

I am looking for 5-10 VPSes with either unmetered or 10+ TB bandwidth. Provider must have nothing against Tor relays and/or exit nodes, abuse complaints will be addressed within 24h.

Any region is acceptable, although I'd prefer to spread them across the globe and different (network) providers.

Requirements:
 * 2 - 4 GB ram
 * 10 - 20 GB HDD / SSD
 * 100Mbit - 1Gbps non-shared connection
 * unmetered / 10+ TB bandwidth

  • Exit node? Have fun getting raided

    Get a slice :D

    Exits are fine. You'll want to make sure mail ports and things like that are blocked, but so long as you are sriois about maintaining it and aren't using as a way to get away with things, no sweat.

    That would be a waste of resources as they'd have no legal ground to stand on.

    The chance of getting raided is by the way close to zero, it happens approximately 1-2 times a year (with +-800 exit nodes).

    Mail ports will be blocked, machine will automatically upgrade all essential updates and checked up on regularly.

    What kind of network are they connected to? 100Mbit non-shared?

    Each node is 1gbit shared between vms.

    I'm ok with you doing 100mbit/sec on each if we spread you out some.

    Our traffic VPS line might be interesting for you.
    We are able to make an exception on our TOR exit node policy since you'll be blocking SMTP :-). Just send our support a message that you'll be running an exist node, and that SMTP ports will be blocked - we'll make a note regarding this, so you can run your exit node without any worry :-).

    Use coupon VPS15OFF to get 15% discount.
    An OpenVZ instance would most likely give you the best performance.

    You'll have access to a 1Gbps shared uplink with plenty of capacity, so 100Mbps of traffic won't be an issue when we spread out your VPSes through multiple nodes on our platform :-).

    Additional recurring bandwidth can be ordered for 1 euro per TB block. Special pricing is possible for 10TB+ bandwidth upgrades.
    You may also contact us for a custom VPS.

    Instead of simply inserting a link to your company's site, perhaps you could clarify how one of your offers can meet what the OP is looking for.

    You're shit posting all over the forum, what's the "deal of the day"?

    Most of your packages come with a 10mbps line, with the exception of one category.

    Your livechat was unable to answer basic questions, your TOS also prohibits the deployment of proxy servers.

    So please, which of your servers are magically able to bypass your TOS/bandwidth limits and actually meet the OP's request?

    Awesome, you got a spot on my list.

    Your pricing model is not suited for my use case I'm afraid. A 50 Mbit/s uplink Tor exit node consumes around 8-9TB of traffic a month. If I'd use the full 100Mbit connection I'd expect this amount to double.

    Unmetered bandwidth included at 10 Mbps uplink port

    Double that times 10 and confirm that you will allow me to run a Tor exit node and I might be interested.

    Our Ukraine VPS are on 1Gbit shared line and with SSDs and as long as you handle the complaints we are good.

    I cannot commit on the bandwidth as there are other VMs too and the price does not fall into the LET bracket ( < $7)

  • +1 for liteserver. Their service is always solid.

    Bold statement considering your LU upstream does hate them majorly after legal headache in the past. Guess own AS -> own business, which is how the cybercrime on root survives as well...

    BlaZe said: Our Ukraine VPS are on 1Gbit shared line and with SSDs and as long as you handle the complaints we are good.

    I sure hope you have asked your upstream about the exit usage, some (eg. Topnet and Colocall) hate this as it gives raid reasons to the pretty much by now authoritarian security apparatus. Go ask UrDN for their fun with the UA security service for start, and where the hardware went, or if there is a court case (or even just a hearing date) yet...

    Shorty said: That would be a waste of resources as they'd have no legal ground to stand on.

    The gov does not care about this. The gov still raids you. They have no need to justify the cost of this to anyone directly, and police only works on court orders anyway so is never liable in reality.

    Sure, it might be declared illegal later (extremely unlikely as the raid, for sharing child porn and similar, by the book IS 100% justified without any information to you beforehand as this could cause deletion of data wanted), or you get your hardware back (can take, even in EU countries, up to 5 years, and some only return wiped disks if proven or assumed encrypted) and the case dropped (far more likely) which means, read closely, you pay your lawyer costs yourself which can easily go in the thousands for a case involving cybercrime or illegal porn.

    So yes, you will get raided unless you already have planned this through - which you have not, else you would not use random VPS but get a RIPE LIR and IPs like Torservers, which did what you do now and found it to be not useful - and operate everything either fully anonymous or behind a 100% secured lawyer setup (in case of Torservers this is a collective, which resides at the university, which is directly the lawyer, this limits liability to zero by German law and prevents any location to be available for a raid at all).

    Shorty said: The chance of getting raided is by the way close to zero, it happens approximately 1-2 times a year (with +-800 exit nodes).

    As 400+ of them are operated by Torservers, large companies and well connected people, while the other 400 are 200 in 3rd world countries, 100 gov controlled and 100 only really left as "operator" controlled.

    Thus the rate is not 1-2 (this number is also wrong - we had alone 4 verified this year) in 800, but 4-10 in 100 which are 4-10%.

    UrDN :D pretty much aware of their issue and they are fighting from so long!
