Dedicated Server West Coast USA
Hi,
My Employer is looking to move to a cheaper and more performant alternative to Amazon AWS Workspaces.
Our workload involves a lot of database interaction so is very IO heavy so ssd's are required.
The main problem we had with AWS Workspaces is that the single thread performance was terrible.
Requirements:
* 16 - 32 GB ram
* Gigabit connection
* 10TB bandwidth
* CPU with very good single thread performance (something like an E3 should suit)
* Good connection to us-west-2 AWS Region
Budget:
$50 - $80 USD per month.
We intend to get one server to pilot and intend to purchase another 3+ if all goes well.

Here's their 1 gig test file: https://www.oplink.net/speedtest/raw/1000mb.zip
Also check QuadraNet, Psychz, and QuickPacket.
QuickPacket, @qps , has my vote.
We have the following server currently in stock for $80 per month. We are colocated at the Psychz facility in Los Angeles and fully own all of our hardware.
We have a LookingGlass available for testing our network.
If you have any questions then feel free to reach out to us and we would be more than happy to answer them.
@sqamsqam QuickPacket has several server models available in Los Angeles.
All servers include 20TB bandwidth on 1Gbps port and /29 IPv4 and /64 IPv6 addresses.
Upgrade from 128GB SSD to 256GB SSD for $10 per month additional on any server.

PM me if you are interested in any of these deals. Thanks.
Awesome offer! that fits pretty much everything we need. i had a look at your website and wasn't able to find it so will definitely get in contact if we choose to go with that.
Would there be much of a price difference for 2 x 250GB ssd? we often need to work with multiple databases that are nearing the 100GB mark
In regards to our website we do not currently have it listed as we have limited stock of these machines.
As far as a second 250GB SSD is concerned this would run you an additional $15 per month. We're happy to offer discounts on longer term commitments which will bring this down closer to your budget though.
We're more than happy to discuss pricing and answer any questions you may have via ticket.
@qps
I can't find 'E3-1270v1 16GB RAM 128GB SSD $40 (upgrade to 32GB RAM for $20)' on the website.
Cloud you post the link.
