WhatsApp, Facebook , Telegram , LET. You should include boxbilling, it is open source and it let you also manage your server.
Kayako.
DeskPRO
Not using, but worth to mention: RequestTracker, OTRS, Zammad, osTicket, Cerberus Helpdesk
I remember out Kayako upgrades turning into a mess. Nice to work with though!
I think LET is my favorite helpdesk software /s
Groove
Jira and AgileCRM are another options.
The $500 I spent on a Kayako owned licence circa 2005 has to be one of the best investments I've ever made. If I didn't have it, I would probably use Help Scout (despite the recent price hike).
It's quite better now! I paid like $200 for the owned license back then and ever since then i just get the support upgrades! So it's quite nice to have/use
These days Kayako seems a little high priced, groove looks nice indeed!
Own solution, hPanel
You forgot to mention the Blesta and Clientexec (tickets system is part of them)
visionhelpdesk.com looks great and price is good. Also it as Satellite / Multi-Company feature that is great for multiple brands. I will try it soon!
Did you try Zammad (https://zammad.org/)? Looks pretty good. Gave it a test run on a VPS. Easy to install (can directly be installed or behind nginx).
I set it up overnight without a careful read of the docs, ended up mis-configuring MySQL leading to my memory usage slowly rising to about 90%. They have a PostGreSQL version (I am going to try that next)
LiveAgent
Kayako
Helpscout, but we would probably move to Zendesk as we're having Zopim/Zendesk Chat for our the live chat and those two would integrate better.
Have a look at
https://github.com/opensupports/opensupports/releases
https://github.com/helpyio/helpy/releases
osTicket all the way, because its so easy to hack!
Is Kayako software? Everything about the web site seems to suggest that it's (only) a hosted service?
Wow, now Kayako has a "free" tier - for live chat software only.
Last thing people need is one more system to create account for and to learn how to use. Facebook, Twitter and Reddit are plenty. Personal info can be discussed privately while most questions remain publicly available for other users to benefit.
At softaculous I'm leading Deskuss, https://deskuss.com it's still in beta so you're free to try it
How does one signup? I've tried and it gave me an error. I tried again, and it says
"The email has already been taken."
And so I tried with a support@ email, and it says
"The username support is already in use."
Ooh another shitty software to add to their collection of shitty softwares.
Please send a mail with error screenshots to [email protected]
We have been using Vision helpdesk for 5 years , I have tried WHMCS but its quit basic I would include visionhelpdesk over WHMCS. Best quality it offer Multi-company help desk solution.
Just Crisp.im for live chat for now, will probably add zendesk to this for e-mail tickets.
We use Intercom, are able to resolve issues and communicate much faster with clients
Supportpal - https://www.supportpal.com/ - for ticketing
Crisp - https://crisp.chat/en/ - for live chat
Loving both
