Looking for a DS in Germany

madnoobmadnoob Member
edited August 2017 in Requests

Howdy folks , I'm looking for a dedicated server in germany with good network (latency-wise).
CPU at least 8 cores (HT is fine) @ min. 2.3GHz
RAM 8 gigs is fine.
HDD does not matter.
Bandwidth does not matter.
Windows OS (would bring my own license)
My budget is around 30$. Any providers out there , except hetzner , that can do this?

  • We're cheap, but not THAT cheap. Raise your budget.

Can you with pro-rata billing for your Germany Dedicated Server?

    I can provide Intel G850 16GB RAM 4x 1TB SATA 10 TB Germany € 69 at € 59

    @madnoob

It isn't exactly your price range, but if youre not paying via paysafecard i could make the price a little lower, since all payment fees are included in my pricing.

I7 4790k 32GB RAM 250GB SSD 8TB FairUse, Germany, Frankfurt am Main - €53,99 (if paid via paypal end pricing would be around €48,59)

However if you have some patience i could've have some even less costing dedicated servers soon after the final vms have been migrated

    i7 2600/4770 32GB RAM 1TB HDD 8TB FairUse, Germany, Frankfurt am Main - €35,00

I'm paying via PayPal , and the 35EUR one seems to be viable. Can you lower the price by cutting down on the RAM? As 32 would be a waste.
    And any ETA on it?

  • Netcup gives you 8 dedicated cores for 31 Euros with their VPS, maybe that could work as well?

Well Hetzner is the oniy one that can offer deals like that (that I know of at least). Why don't want to go with them? They have i7 3770's with 16 GB RAM for 28.68 EUR at the moment.

Cutting down ram wouldn't make any noticeable price difference, since it's hitting the housing costs of the servers.

Migration starts again on monday, so there should be servers like these available at the end of next week:

    Intel:

    i7-2600 | 32GB RAM |120GB SSD | 33€

    i7-2600 | 32GB RAM | 500GB HDD / 1TB | 34€

    i7-2600 | 32GB RAM | 2x 1TB | 34€

    i7-4770 | 16GB RAM | 120GB SSD / 500GB / 1TB HDD | 34€

    i7-4770/4790 | 32GB RAM | 120GB SSD/500GB/1TB HDD | 37€

    i7-4770/4790 | 32GB RAM | 250GB SSD | 41€

    AMD:

    AMD FX-6100 32GB RAM | 500GB HDD | 1000GB HDD | 2000GB HDD | 34€

    *monthly prices

    28,99€ if ordered from Netcup.de

  • I need a dedicated server , not a VPS.

Hetzner has pretty good support. Especially for the price.

With incredibly slow and unstable servers, unfortunately. At least, that is my experience..

I do like hetzner , but I've been with them for too long and not that much satisfied with the network/hardware.

Probably just bad luck. Have many services with them and have never really experienced any issues. There network is very good as well, with a fully dedicated 1 Gbps port which I can consistently fully use.

ServDiscount but do not expect the same support as Hetzner, its more Kimsufi like.

It seems like there are some E3 for 27.99 and i7 for 34.99 in stock.

Just tried ordering the E3 for 32$ , and at the end I was supposed to pay 41$ without any explanation why did the price jump 10$ at checkout.
    So no thanks.

If you can raise your costs, some of our special offers might be great: https://my.combahton.net/dedicated_stock.php

Nope it was 41$ + 2$ transaction fees , unless the VAT is 30%?
