Budgetnode's replacement

Hello,

I'm looking for a new VPS with similar specs than my budgetnode that just expired. Preferably in the US/CAN :

256MB RAM & 256MB vSwap

1 vCPU

20GB Storage

500GB Bandwidth

100Mbps Port Speed

1 IPv4

/64 IPv6

50Gbps DDoS Mitigation

$12/year

IRC accepted (ZNC).

Thank you.

Maybe @tragic can do something for you. He used to have some pretty radical promos, but my US OpenVZ box with them has remained surprisingly stable regardless.
Not sure what happened to his provider tag…

Since downtime on ZNC hurts, I'd also suggest UltraVPS.eu, but their level of quality is gonna cost you more than $12/year.

I can understand, but when the OP was happy with the provider why change ?

"Don't touch running system" and "don't try to fix what ain't broken".

  • Didnt budgetnode raise prices? That might be why he doesn't want to continue. Or the Piohost antics.

  • WinneWinne Member

Well, didn't budgetnode decided to stay away from LET anyway ? I used their service for the whole year and I'm just moving away .. plain and simple.

  • There you go, sometimes you just want to try something new.

Nope Jordan just lied about that again as usual, as ishaq is posting again. Lol

He sold Tragic Servers to some other provider and got out of the hosting business, iirc. There was a thread about it. He did it the "right" way as far as I could tell.

Worth noting the customer renewed with us so this can probably be closed now.

Seems to be a habit of that guy to close or hush up everything he doesn't like.

While I don't think that merely mentioning that someone renewed does constitute customer info leaking in the strict legal sense I personally would take it as not exactly flattering. But then, we live in a free world and everyone can stay with bh. After all masochism isn't illegal ...

The return of return of Jamie L? That can get iagly...

So, if the provider updates in a thread where the general mood is "Stay clear of provider" with a positive note, that is hushing up? It seems like defending one's image.

I did follow the BudgetNode/Pio discussion closely and also the previous one where @Ishaq edited the OPs comments. I don't condone modifying threads, but in this case, here in this thread, I don't think there is a move to hush/close things up.

Honest now: is WSS a cunning disguise and you are actually JSS?

Swear to the holy violet cow that you are not jordan or jamie!
