I'm looking for a dedicated server in Taiwan with the following specs:

8GB ram,
Any disk,
1gbit port with 5TB of bandwidth,
5 IPs

Please provide quote + delivery timeline.

Thanks

Are you sure about that 1 Gbps port? Tagging @BlaZe anyways.

    @jenok has servers in Taiwan.

OVH SG has a good connection to Taiwan

1gbit would be nice, but I'll settle for 100mbit as well.

I need the server to be physically in Taiwan. Nearby doesn't count.

  • TW does not do TB based billing, as most of Asia. You pay by Mbit.

Your Gbit port is unrealistic expensive either way and 5 IPs alone cost you 50$ at HiNet.

The server cost is negligible - BW and IP wise you'll end up paying 500$ alone.

At 100Mbit you get probably 10Mbit unmetered on a shared 100Mbit port (again HiNet) but with 5 IPs this will also cost at least 150$. With server at least 200$.

Hardware in Taiwan is cheap, HiNet and the other major ISPs rip you on BW, power and space.

Its possible but will be expensive as hell!

Also our senpai @William is right.

The least we can offer 1 IP address (HiNet) would be at $8/IP/mo & the per mbit price we offer is $20/mo

So now calculate the price of 1Gbps :D

  • I know that this company has servers in Taiwan.

Welcome to Asia, this is still considered a good route - it at least does not cross US (that 160ms from TW to HK is a nice long route around Asia however)...

    Why is that?

  • cyberpersons said: Why is that?

Because they are a multi billion dollar company with basically a monopoly on most of the TW market. Your spending does not matter to them.

  • Hi, are you still in need of Taiwan server? We have two kinds as below:
    Intel Xeon E3-1230 v3 3.3Ghz, 8GB DDR3, 240GB SSD / 500GB SATA, 2 IPv4, 1Gbps port
    Intel Xeon E5-2650 2.00GHz,32G DDR3,2*1TB SATA, 2 IPv4, 1Gbps port
The price is as lower as $70/month.
