Canadian VPS required
hybridized
Member
Hi, I am looking to rent a cheap VPS in the Canada, preferably in Toronto or nearby area and I've got the following requirements:
Space: 10-15 GB ,
BW: 200-250 GB ,
RAM: 1GB ,
3-5 additional IP4 @ $1/IP to use on OpenVPN
I've looked around and can't find any host which provides additional IPs so need your suggestions.
Much appreciated.
Thanks

LunaNode provide IPs at $1.00/month and are in Toronto (Cogent DC) - might be what you are looking for.

I thought you could get extra ips for $3 setup and $0 monthly from OVH.
What is your budget for the vps itself?
Correct. I believe 16 add-ons per VPS is allowed at $3 one-time per. Plus the VPS at $3.50/mo.
For Toronto though, Luna Node or @dediserve might be able to do this.
1GB KVM w/ 5 IPv4 for $4/m in Canada (OVH) https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/111549/my-custom-hosting-canada-kvm-premium-ddos-protection-native-ipv6-ssd-cached-no-bs-happy-easter
Looks like I will go with them as they are offering what I require but I'm still looking to compare with other Canadian based hosts willing to offer what I require.
Thanks and keep the suggestions coming please.
Too bad he is not willing to provide extra IPs for OpenVPN so I'm still looking.
Maximum $5 for VPS and can pay $1/IP for additional IPs. Can you offer something like this?
@dediserve
Can you offer what I'm looking for sir?
I will do this for you, $5 plus $1 per IP, billed monthly. If an ip gets blocked by ovh antihack/antispam it will stay locked for minimum of 7 days.
Thanks, just want to confirm these things:
1) Where in Canada will the server be?
2) Is this KVM or OpenVZ
3) Will you be able to give me a total of 10 Canadian IPv4 addresses if required?
4) Are you willing to give me the $7 Canadian plan for $5 if I buy quarterly?
5) Any money back guarantees if I don't like the service?
Thanks
1) Located OVH Beauharnois
2) KVM (I will never sell OVZ)
3) Yes, 10 is not a problem
4) Yes, for you I will provide this as a recurring discount.
5) Standard 7 day money back, no questions.
I really like your storage plan, when does it come back ? bro
Need to move some customers to the new system which will allow me to release a surplus server and then look into more storage plans.
Do you have any waiting lists or somethings related ? Can you lemme know if it available ?
Yeah! We can do that.
$5.00 USD/m
15GB HDD
500GB/m BW
1GB RAM
1CPU core @ 3.40Ghz Fair share
KVM Virt
$1.00USD/ extra IP
Located at OVH BHS location
15 day money back if there is not violation of our TOS (Additional IPs don't qualify for refund)
Not at this time, pre-orders and waiting lists are a pain to manage. Time is precious and easily wasted in those areas.
Haha, okay, I hope will be ordered your service soon.
Hi, can you please provide the specs of the hardware.
Okay looks good.
Can you please confirm the hardware specs such as CPU and RAM and how much BW will be provided in this package? I will be satisfied with 500 GB.
Lastly can give me the $7 package for $5 even if I pay monthly, I know I said I can pay quarterly earlier but I'd like to try out the service first before committing long term.
Thanks
@pbgben
Awaiting a reply as I need this done today, thanks.
E3-1231v3 @ 3.80GHz - 32GB DDR3
5TB Data cap
No discount for monthly.
7 Days money back should be ample to test.
Weren't you offering E3-1245 v5 in your sales thread for Canadian location?
Also you didn't mention how much BW I would be getting in this package and also do confirm the uplink.
I'm not sure if you are trying to request to v5 over the v3. But you won't notice a difference with OVPN.
Isn't v5 a newer version and better overall, atleast that's what I read on cpuboss.
By the way do you think 1CPU core is good enough to run 10 OpenVPN users/configs?
Thanks
@pbgben
Can I get a reply from you please?

Thanks
I'm pretty sure he mentioned 5TB bandwidth in his offer.
And yes, 1 core is enough for 10 users.
