    Happy Bunny holiday ^_^

Do I understand this correctly - if sign up with the easter code and deposit $5 per year there will be 25% us/eu discount and initial $10 + $5/year don't expire? Just use it or top up each year?

The 25% discount is applied when calculating the bandwidth cost. If you use the $10 code and not use it, you can recharge with $5 and you will have $15 for 12 months. After that if you want, you can do another $5 recharge and you will have $20 :)

EDIT: If you've already used any codes in the past, they stack as well (Except the discount)

I already have an account. Is the 25% discount automatically applyed or do I need to do something?

Regarding SSL. Since you use Letsencrypt, do I need to take any action to renew the certificate or it will be renewed behind the scenes automatically?

    Thanks for the offer ;)

The discount is applied automatically, we currently don't have an indicator that it's active, but I'm adding that right now.

Let's Encrypt also renews itself behind the scenes, you have nothing to worry about :)

But keep going strong, probably will be suggesting your services at work ;)

  • Had trouble uploading a file by ftp to a storage zone. Will open a ticket I guess. The upload is not at all important--I just wanted to try it out.

As I've described in the ticket, the problem is likely that you're using a client that's trying to use a command that's not yet supported by our server. We've done huge progress on that since the storage launched, but from time to time we still see some problems with certain clients.

We will hopefully be adding OpenStack compatibility soon, which will not only be more reliable than FTP but also won't have client compatibility issues.

As a new sub, I don't know how anyone can finish off 1tb in 14 days, let alone use the extra 10$ worth of bandwidth. Added together it's 2tb. It's like asking for abuse. Not complaining, just the offer doesnt make sense for a new user on free trial.

Edit: Nvm, free trial still has 1tb only.
