It Is The Last Email From
vStoike Data CenterYeah, it is exactly what you think it is, since now there will be no more vStoike. It's been wonderful years with you and we appreciate every day of you being with us along this way.
Bastards got me
Meet Veesp
>
Don't worry, we are not going out of the business!
But there come a lot of news and changes.
Firstly, Veesp is our new brand name.
Comments
your not alone.
while i was reading, something in my head was saying "fake news, april ..." then they confirmed the new name...
hey @deadbeef when are you going change to live?
Any refugee deals from Veesp for @vstoike customers?
Zombie apocalypse date: unknown.
same here
V stoike (в стойке) just literally means "in a rack" in Russian. I guess they decide to become less Russia-centric in their branding. Though I won't comment on wtf "veesp" is even supposed to mean. (guess no worse than stuff like "Vultr"?)
My vStoike account can't login to the new web.
It works fine in my case.
Works for me too.
I think SP might be Saint Petersburg, and vee just a vee @vstoike or @veesp
That re-branding/name is awful; it sounds like some cheap shop who’s selling second-hand Piaggio’s. I hate it.
The struggle of scoring a nice sounding 5-letter .com is real.
Well, actually the idea behind "veesp" is the branded version of "virtual service provider". We are very sad that some people do not like the new name, but we were ready for it, you know it is all about a matter of taste)
Yes this email surprised me and i thought it's a late april fools joke. Good to hear regardless, new name who cares along it's still vstoike really.

hand reg domain?
By the way have you guys faced some network/storage degradation in comparison with November, for example?
I'm not joking about a refugee offer, @vStoike / Veesp
Saw the titled, panicked and then remembered those mental Black Friday KVMs I've never used!
honestly you made BF so much fun, hope we see the same energy and humour on next.
I expect to be dead before next Black Friday.

So, not interesting in annual deals, monthly and quarterly from now on?
Lifetime deals
And then @Nekki will rise again on Cyber Monday! Hallelujah!
LET US BE LIKE HIM, HOLDING UP ONE SHOE AND LET THE OTHER BE UPON OUR FEET!
"Veesp"? That is possibly the stupidest name I've ever heard, and in the LowEnd world, that's saying a lot.
They just trying move closer to the western market. VStoike just unknown word, Veesp sounds like a Vultr Bravo.
You fucking better not be. You're really just going to leave @deadbeef and I by ourselves to shitpost for deals?
Is Veesp where I go to buy a Veespa?
I personally consider that a stupid move from vStoike.
They are a good hoster and I'm a very happy client. But: They have become known as "vStoike" and I think a) one doesn't change the packaging of a well known, established, well running operation and b) that a russian name (which most wouldn't take to be russian anyway) is actually a plus at a time when every more customers around the globe have learned to be extremely mistrusting towards us of a corporations.
And btw: What's so great about "Veesp"? I find it boring, not creative, and most importantly less unique than "vStoike".
I personally liked vStoike more than Veesp, but this is just my taste.
Trying so hard to take a .com domain it's not worth it (we now have cheap gTLD); the old vstoike.ru was much better and already made a name for itself (especially on LET with Black Friday 2016). After all, datacenter is located in Russia, so I see no problem whatsoever with a .ru domain.
Waiting for
Vdongslurrrrpppeee email.
Well, vStoike ("on the rack") was meaningful. Anyway, Veesp is better than, say, vProlyote...
