    I've been wanting to start one up for a while so I'll get one up and running tonight and post a link here for you. ;)

    I miss my old free web hosting days. :D

  • @budingyun

    After my old blog got some visitors around 1000 my account got suspended.

    @KuJoe

    I wanted to buy a shared hosting from your http://ddosprotect.us/ company but the contact us page doesnt work. (it was 1 or 2 days ago).

    So can @KuJoe (http://floridawebhosting.net/) and NSL (http://nosupportlinuxhosting.com/) and, gosh, lots of people.

    Heck for $10.99/year the OP could get a ServerDragon OvZ LEB and host it.

  • ROTFL. Don't fall for this again. He'll find a way to sell "free simple hosting" to a group of hobos >_<.

  • @martip07 If you don't find what you're looking for, fire me a PM. I'll hook you up with cPanel hosting :)

  • @David_P What do you mean? I've actually owned a host once before, before going into cPanel and VPS hosting. We had over 250 hosted accounts, over 300 hosted websites. We were growing very, very fast. Thanks to a VPS provider we used, that all ended :/ http://hostingpad.tk was the host. http://freesimplehosting.com will be better. ;)

    Yeah, and you've always ended up selling out.

    "I have sold GridHostingSolutions because it was interfering with my personal life."

    What happened? Less than a month & you start a new thing. I'm not going to derail this thread. It's just terribly funny. haha.

  • Ok I found what I wanted, a mod can close this please .... thanks to @Fliphost

    Post a new thread! I want free hosting done right. lol

  • @David_P Let's just say I got into "legal" trouble when I sold GridHostingSolutions with drug use. I know, I know, I fucked up. Sure, you see it's funny, but if you were me, you wouldn't. You don't know what I am going through right now, and by running a free hosting project with two other people, I'm actually not spending as much time on it as I did with GridHostingSolutions.

    @KuJoe Boss how do you make money with free webhosting? Or is it just for hobby?

  • @David_P I also don't exactly see why people have to hate on people who start a host and later sell it for more profit, a lot of companies do this now a days', even HostGator did.

    You simply start a host, get a good client base, then sell it for more than what you put into it, easy as that.

    Also, http://hostingpad.tk, I've never sold and I would never sell a free hosting project, I mean, who honestly would purchase a free hosting provider? I wouldn't.

  • @jcaleb It's mostly just a hobby. The only profit you make from free hosting is from advertisements, direct sponsorships or donations.

    Been thinking about a venture into the free hosting thing too. But if i do I'm going to force ads on users ;)

    It degrades your reputation in my opinion. Not exactly hating. I hope you do get your life fixed up man. It's a tough world ;)

  • @Jeffrey said: HostGator

    They sold once. U nd dominic sell every month.

  • KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep

    Ordered 2 domains to play with, now I just need to decide which client management software I want to use, iPanel, THT-fork, or custom MyBB plugin. :X

  • shovenoseshovenose Member, Host Rep

    I messed with iPanel a bit seemed good. Just could never get it to work. LOL just use WHMCS :)

  • KuJoeKuJoe Member, Host Rep

    @shovenose said: just use WHMCS

    Free is better.

  • @driverdotim said: They sold once. U nd dominic sell every month.

    I think takeover will be a better suited word in here for Hostgator or big Companies.

    Regards.
