@TheXO
Commercial name
Kimsufi KS-3C - 8G i3-2130 1x2TB Server
The product description is i3, like my i5-2400, 16GB RAM servers has this description:
Commercial name Kimsufi KS-3C - 8G i3-2130 1x2TB Server
So you just have to try your luck. Several people this time has got the upgraded version, others has got was Kimsufi promise, a i3 with 8 GB RAM.

Commercial name: Kimsufi KS-3C - 8G i3-2130 1x2 TB
no luck for me xD
but it is a nice upgrade for my Kimsufi
KS - 4G Atom N2800 1x2000 Go
at same priceWanted one in France. Fucked up and ordered one at BHS instead.
/facepalm
@jam, have you login to the server and checked was it actual have? The commercial name will always be the same, whatever the real specs are.
Was it the excitement that took over aha
Woo go me
That moment when you realize that fellow LETers know you better than the girlfriend.
Thanks, my old ks3 was in CAD, needed one in Europe for better cpu and peering! Also it's i5 / 16GB ram one
yes, i see a Intel I3-2130 CPU, 8Gb Ram and 2TB HDD.
I ordered 2 in Canada and both are I3s. Still a better deal than the Canadian site, and they'll make good backup boxes.
just let my ks-3c expire (was i3/8GB anyway) two weeks ago... so nope. gonna resist this time. no raid, 100MBit/s. nope. I am convinced I don't need it...
that urge to roll the dice... damn.
Been there. Couldn't resist. Got fucked in the process, and am a proud owner of an i3 box. But hey, at-least the IP looks better and is something that I can easily remember.
Finally got lucky this time, i5-2400 with 2690 hours hdd.
just give up bro, this will not last long
Lucky me too
Got an i5 2400 with 16GB RAM.
Only checked download speed, and network (FR) appears to be pretty crappy:
Witch command did you use? Can't find it.
@ewrek you can use
wget freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh -O - -o /dev/null|bash
smartctl -A /dev/sda
I've just renewed 3xi3 servers several hours ago, 3 months each ;-(.
And now, tried my luck again, and again and got a bad luck ;-(
All of them have been idle from the beginning. Poor me. Might consider to put plex on it for porn now.
thx, have 6188H on mine.

Opened five North America, all ordinary, only one is a new hard drive, the other is 15,000 hours the same ~! Mad!
Can anyone give me a heads up as to how long Kimsufi validation takes?
Long enough that your order will probably expire before it's done.
i5, chamoan!
Not risking a second punt
hah, thanks for supporting me, that somewhat relieved a part of the pressure. ;-)
and it sounds much like you probably got my box from before. if you find a boinc-client still running, let me know ^^
