Appcheck NG has an Api. Ask for Ben Jackson. AFAIK they have a pay as you go pricing option.
I think the Comodo EssentialSSL certificate ($14.35 from gogetssl.com or $10 through their reseller account) includes PCI scanning. That's the main difference between it and the cheaper PostiveSSL certificate.

Thanks all. I'll speak to Appcheck and Qualys this week. The Comodo thing might be less practical because it would need the domain to be verified each time (although probably a lot cheaper).
