I did that, it gave me an error also @gubbyte.
Well, do what it says. Fix the files in the work tree, git add/rm them and then git commit -a.
What error did git pull -u give you?
I did that, I've reinstalled git.
That does nothing, you still have the repo's .git directory there
I know, but I deleted those dirs, etc.
Fixed it now.
