EDIT: This problem has been solved, turned out to be an issue with auto-provisioning module.

For anyone interested in this offer, more than half of templates available in the order form are not present after the payment is made, and your machine is provisioned.

Many will not find this to be an issue (as they will use one of the available templates anyway), but in my case it's quite a deal breaker.

This results in an error when trying to start a machine:

And attempt to reinstall reveals the issue of lacking templates:

... which were present before placing an order:

For the reference, I already had bought one before, a little bit more than a year ago, and it worked quite well to be honest.

I decided to order another one, two days ago (02.02.2017), knowing that this comes with no official Debian 8 (Jessie) support.

However I've found a way to get a working x86_64 non-systemd 8 - using 6 (Stretch) x86_64 template as a base (which uses sysvinit, unlike 7 (Wheezy) with upstart), and doing a dist-upgrade.

Technically you can dist-upgrade 7 as well, but there were some minor issues with upstart in 8.

I've opened a ticket, and it's currently almost 48 hours with no response as to whether I can expect template, which I selected when ordering this offer, to be available for reinstallation.

So @cociu please look into it if you can.

like in many tikets i write in this offer we dont support debian 8 , ubuntu 16 , centos 7 due of old kernel. except this if you have problem with any other distro please open tikets. I know somethimes the tiket time is more than 24 hours (this is only for 2 weeks more) but normaly we respond in maximum 2 hours. Also we offer to our clients 5 days money back guarantee no question asked if you are not content with your vps.

But this is not about unavailability of Debian 8, if you read my previous post carefully, you can see that:

Let's forget about 8 completely. This is about Debian 6, which is available for selection when ordering this offer.

I don't want a refund (yet), I already was using your service before, and I was quite happy with it, because in my opinion (given the price) it's quite good (or at least it was back then).

I just need an answer whether you can bring Debian 6 x86_64 template back, because apparently the order form is deceiving into thinking that this template is available, while in fact - it isn't.

This "old kernel" should be recent enough to support Debian 6, don't you think? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I can confirm that VPS is working, and all templates are available for reinstallation, so everything appears to be solved.

    Thanks @cociu.
