Our Discord community allows for real-time instantaneous conversation regarding web hosting infrastructure, enables customers to engage with providers, interact with staff and shoot the shit with likeminded community members.
The rules are similar to LET - Try to keep things on-topic in most channels, although the-cest-pit is a free for all. There's a handy rules list as well if you get stuck.
The development of the community is always our priority - We welcome and encourage feedback.

Why not a Mattermost or RocketChat.io server? Either of those can be self-hosted on something called a "VPS" which you can research at LowEndBox.com
Because they're about as stable as anything labeled "alpha"

They're all easy to setup. They're just not production ready applications, except for IRC which just doesn't have a single feature I appreciate

I have to agree, the group I'm apart of uses slack because it's more stable. MatterMost is going the split tier way of having open source and then locking some cooler features behind enterprise pricing like gitlab has. RocketChat web side is ok but the mobile apps suck.
