Cheap Ireland VPS?

I'm trying to find a cheap vps from Ireland to host some proxies on but all of the ones I am finding are way too expensive, does anyone know where I can find any cheaper ones?

  • The only provider I can think of off my head is ServeByte.

@dediserve are a good provider in Ireland, positive experience with them so far.

These look really good but unfortunately too much, I was hoping to buy about 30 for around £2-3 each a month like I can in the UK

They used to offer 1GB VM for €5 (£4.3), PM @dediserve or wait BF for a possible discount.

You're not going to find an Irish VM for £2-3.00 a month (well - one that is any good anyway). The UK and Ireland are totally different ballparks when it comes to this.

    Welcome to Ireland.

  • lol - that's why all my VPS are UK/FRA/GER ;P

We do routinely run LET specials, and have a VPS range we offer from time to time (last Black Friday we did a 2GB RAM server for $6.99 for example).

In Ireland, IP4 and transit are much more expensive than in London for example, but also less than SIngapore or Jakarta, where we also have clouds.

Our platforms are 'high end' in terms of hardware and support (all HP Blades, enterprise SSD arrays, etc) so are not really designed for non production use...

Certainly drop us a line / pm and we can work up our best price option for you - we're not aware of ANY Irish platform or provider that can beat our prices as it is...

You have the wrong seller, BW pricing on 1G via 10G commit is nearly (+-25%) the same from Ireland down to Constanta (= all of EU). On lower commits EVERYONE ripes you off though, digiweb... whatever, all of them, same as in Spain.

Blacknight pays not more for BW in IE than i do in UK and my BW @ Manx is even cheaper than UK....

would like to give you guys a try out - will keep an eye out for your LET special Black Friday offer ;)
are your SSD storage arrays RAID10?

  • Thanks everyone, the cheapest I have found was €5 which I can deal with but unfortunately my proxy speeds were not what 8 had hoped for. I will definitely keep an eye out for a sale on dedi

We run HP D2220 Arrays with 12 drives in RAID 50

To be clear, the difference is very marginal, tho IP4 address space availability is tighter in Dublin than other locations. Dublin is (obviously) one of our larger cloud locations, so I'd imagine our transit usage is comparable to the likes of blacknight.
