Also, have any in L.A. by any chance?

Yes, we do have Los Angeles (OpenVZ) for this offer.

  • Only NY for KVM?

  • Do you provide ipv6 and/or DDOS protection ?

    Tx

  • I believed they only has DDS on their NYC buffalo location.
I should come with up to 10g protection in that location.

    Thanked by 1wlambrechts
  • typo DDS= DDos

masterqqq said: Only NY for KVM?

Correct, for this offer. We may consider adding Chicago, Dallas, and Seattle if stock opens up near the end of the offer.

wlambrechts said: Do you provide ipv6 and/or DDOS protection ?

    Tx

DDoS proteciton is only in Buffalo. If you contact us beforehand, we can make sure you are put on a server with IPv6. Otherwise it's random at this time since we use multiple datacenters.

  • What about KVM for LA, any plans for that by any chance?

TommyC said: What about KVM for LA, any plans for that by any chance?

Los Angeles KVM is almost out of stock so I would not expect it on sale any time soon.

Hmmm, what about Black Fri. or Christmas time?

what do you mean? have you tried one of their vps/locations? i have one and no complains.

  • Can't use a VPS as INCOMMING mail server (incomming port 25 open) ?

  • @virmach, the only thing holding me back from getting the 4GB KVMs is the disk space being 25gb... which is a bit less for normal usage. Just a feedback!

Nevertheless, the offer prices are great and its good to see satisfied customers. keep up!

  • Private vpn possible on ovz?

We may have more stock by then for that location.

We do allow you to select more disk space, at additional cost. Unfortunately, when we are providing Hardware RAID 10 solid state drives, it ends up being the most expensive part of the service. Hopefully in the future we can increase the default disk size for all our plans.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Yes.

That should not be a problem and I do not believe we block port 25 anymore unless in certain cases. Just don't break the rest of our terms of service.

Which config did you buy and how has it held up over time? I'm assuming the numbers will look good on a fresh node but as it fills up they may not be as impressive?

add_iT said: So Colocrossing on buffalo has IPv6 now?

No, they do not. Only certain datacenters do, which is why we ask you check with us first to make sure the location has it available and we have servers in stock with IPv6.

add_iT said: Which location that have IPv6?

Please create a ticket as we would have to check for you what's in stock. I don't want to state it here as stock levels change and I don't want anyone ordering a location expecting IPv6 at this time.
