Looking for Inexpensive Dedis.

I am looking for something inexpensive. I have a Dedi from Joe's Data Center and a Hybrid Server from Hudson Valley Host. Neither of these places is bad, I just am in need of more. I am expanding my business and need more servers in different parts of the country/world.

Could you please share the spec needed, and your budget.

  • Dacentec, Quadix, Quickpacket, Nocix, WholesaleInternet, OVH, kimsufi.. etc

  • 25.00 or less I guess. That is what I pay for each of my servers that I have now.

  • Hey,

We can supply you two different specs in the UK for the <$25 bracket. Is the UK any use?

I'm curious even if the OP isn't, so long as they're not Atoms

Well, first is the ATOM :)

    Dual Core 1.8GHz, 250GB SATA + 2GB RAM - $10/mo

    Xeon 3065, 4GB RAM, 2x250GB SATA - $25/mo

@ProgressiveAtheist - We can do some low priced 5420s and possibly a reasonable E3-1230v2. Might have some other things in spare inventory. Shoot me a PM.

All equipment would be in West Virginia.

  • I need something immediately. Someone have a good offer?

That's a pretty good deal! It's probably more reliable than WSI already.

Does it include KVMoIP/IPMI and is it possible to upgrade to an SSD (extra charge is okay)?

ATOM drives can't be upgraded, Xeon can be for the appropriate fee.

KVMoIP on Demand is available. Our portal has lots of features too for sever management.

What sort of price to swap the HDDs in the Xeon for a couple of small (60GB or above) SSDs?

Price? From which provider? I figure @Dedispec since they're the only one who replied in-thread with 5420s.

  • Well Any Cheap dedicated provider will have something BUT a more specific description of price Range and specs would do well. For example, We offer some good deals BUT then things are only as good as the client needs. What is cheap to one is expensive to another etc etc

Yes it was with them. I feel the price would be for them to disclose.
