Comments

  • @Verelox, how much are additional IPv4 and how many can be assigned to a single VM?

  • BeardyUnixGuy said: @Verelox, how much are additional IPv4 and how many can be assigned to a single VM?

    It is €2.5 per month per additional IP and a maximum of 5 additional IPv4 addresses can be assigned by default to an account, but if you need more addresses, just let us know and we can do a reasonable price/IP according to your needs :-)

    Whoops! Sorry about the slow I/O, the speeds are usually higher than that:

    [root ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test_$$ bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync && rm -f test_$$

    If IO is a problem, we can migrate you to a less-busy hypervisor, just shoot me a PM :-)

    Thanks for sharing the benchmark!

  • @Verelox, I assume the 20% discount is not going to last forever which makes me think, later when you remove the discount, then what will the recurring discount be associated to? The customer's account or the machine instance itself?

    If tied to the machine instance, then it will only benefit someone who will run the machine 24/7.

  • Any plan to have ssd available in Canada?

    The offer expires on October 17th, I'm sorry I forgot to mention that in the OP. The discount applies to VMs deployed while the offer is running, so that old customers can benefit from the discount as well. It does not apply to accounts, only VMs.

    Not in the meantime, but we are currently working on something in the US :-)

  • US is great too. Look forward to this.
