There's not much to say at the moment. I got a good deal and I jumped on it! They've been very good to me and the server has worked as intended.
I have more benchmarks from day one (September 17, 2016) at this site. I intend to do an update in three or four months, as it is way too early to say anything. But I'm happy with the service so far.

What colocrossing location?
You should add more exact locations of where you are testing to on your benchmark, for example DO and RamNode both have NY locations, which would show a good result for CC buffalo while DO SF would be a bit slower.
Yeah, sorry about that. The CC location is Buffalo, NY.
You can see the locations used by the script, here:

For how much you got the server for ?
^where
That is a secret
Let's just say, it was a deal I couldn't resist.
VirMach $34 special?
What size does the IPv6 subnet you got with the server have?
However much they are paying you to keep the server, it's not worth it.
It'll be worth it compared to the other company whom I ditched in favour of CC
I'm not sure but virmach's one is v2, and their servers have 32gb ram, not 16gb like in benchmark.
It's not VirMach. I got it straight from ColoCrossing, no middle-man.
How much? Hehe
Must've been a loss leader deal to drum up some publicity. I want to like CC, because who doesn't like dirt cheap E3s, but every time I test that Buffalo network out it's consistently hot trash.
I didn't even intend to actually publish any review here or even on my site, but I figured "what the heck, what's the harm?", and did it anyway.
Let's continue with the onesite-drama, goys.
I'm mostly just upset about your lack of US geographical knowledge.
I'll correct that.
So, the whole point of this thread was...?
The cool kids on LET rent CC servers now..
For now, the point is just to establish a "baseline" and I'll post an update in three or four months. It's way too early to say anything about the service, other than the fact that ColoCrossing handled everything very nicely and communication has been great.
It was a spur of the moment thing. I should have sat down and actually put some effort into it. But what the hell, this will have to suffice for now.
This is also somewhat ironical as I have always had a great deal of disdain for ColoCrossing
seems most of VirMach are the v3 in fact
Must be cvps
Glad you're having a positive experience @k0nsl, thanks for your business.
Give it another go. We've made tons of improvements the last year, and if you're a direct customer and not on shared resources like a vps you're going to have a great experience.
It smells.
Everyone hating on CC is just jumping on the bandwagon.. it's getting boring now.
I'm a simple guy. It still entertains me.
@k0nsl, nothing against your thread but, with specifics such as price/deal/provider missing, I find limited value in this thread.
Even if the benchmarks completely blew away anything we've seen, without a price, none of us could do a proper comparison.
Maybe a bad example but, I could easily grab a cheap 64GB RAM beefy dedicated server and rave to LET about the resources I have at my disposal. However, if I divulged that the box was from VolumeDrive, everyone would have a very different opinion on the matter.
Hope to see follow-ups, along with more details.
Reminds me of the episode of Southpark where Cartman gets his own amusement park and doesn't let anybody in. Doesn't divulge on details, if any other user did this with another provider accusations would be very similar such as paid posts/shilling/etc.
Plus a reply, like below, doesn't help and adds fuel to it.
