    then why did you create this script list of commands

  • I don't know the full story about this guy, I just see that he's trying and learning.

    Terribly sorry for advising @curtisg to not force the user to be logged in as root in order to run the script.

    @gubbyte
    Perhaps a suggestion on how to do it instead of going butthurt over someone elses work?

    Give feedback instead of bashing. Makes this a better place.

    hello, using sudo runs the command with root privileges

  • First don't say hello it is like a slap in the face.

    You need to re-read your comments.

    Your silly arguments are worse than mine.
    I'm out of this thread, toodles.

  • If you can't operate or trust yourself as root, then you shouldn't be managing a server

  • @gubbyte my silly arguments?

    Lets look at your statement

    hello, using sudo runs the command with root privileges

    That is condescending

    installing it using sudo should be sufficient.

    Yep it is, but that is not the point. The point is it was designed to be run as root. Just cause you don't do it that way it is not his fault. Get over yourself.

    @joepie91 I haven't even looked at his script, I was trying to come up with some explanation. Explanation for which there isn't one.
