  • Is not the CPU core in your package?

  • HarambeHarambe Member, Host Rep

Surprisingly decent quality for the price, grabbed one on last offer post.

@miamiconsultant If I grabbed a 2nd or 3rd one, is it possible to request they be on different nodes?

Thanks it's added. All the packages can be customized in the cart.

That last deal had 20GB instead of 10 and didn't mention that it was pure SSD.

    Yes.

We are building some nodes with big spinning disks next week to have some storage VPS.

  • Hi, do you have something in Miami? I'm from Brazil and the best latency I tried (outside of my own country of course) is in miami...

  • TimeWarner Cable and Level3, what a cool blend. I want to buy something just because of that.

  • "1/4 Core (or 1/2 core if you count hyperthreading)"

is that mean CPU are dedicated? i can use 100% all the time?

    EDIT: I misunderstood

  • miamiconsultantmiamiconsultant Member, Patron Provider

You can use the CPU that you pay for, you can adjust for your load and even add more cores.

Of course anything that disrupts the node or other customers isn't allowed.

  • Game server allowed?

    Yes.

  • I cannot see the "Bitcoin" as the payment method on the order form.

  • Got one of this. The price is very good for it's price and the network is very great! I'd like to get another one soon.

We are working on the portal integration, send us a ticket.

  • I grabbed a yearly 256MB KVM. I don't see that plan listed anymore, did it get removed?

We ran out of capacity, more nodes have been built this morning and we are going to try to build enough extra nodes to stay ahead of the curve.

They are back in stock now.

  • I signed up for the first deal, OpenVZ 1GB, 1 core, 20GB SSD for $1.25 per month. Excellent network, uptime and support. The server is very snappy too.

I've tried a couple other OVZ and KVM with similar specs from different providers since, and Hostforce has been performing better despite costing as little as 1/3rd of them.

  • Same here, very happy with the performance so far. Ticket response time was also very fast for a minor issue.
