Apart from Zendesk, do they integrate with WHMCS? I don't want them separate. Even if they can use their ticket details to log-in that would be fine. I don't want them completely seperated.
Sirportly does, apparently
Will look into the free edition. Thanks!
ClientExec, HostBill?
Best for what? The WHMCS one works for us, for the things we use it for. What more do you need from a ticketing system?
WHMCS works for us, I don't find the need for an external ticketing system like Kayako or Zendesk.
Define "best".
The best ticketing system is the one you feel more comfortable working with.
What's missing in WHMCS support system side that you need?
There's nothing missing as such. I just want something more user-friendly and "different" to others. I am liking Sirportly so might integrate that
@dominicl Ah ok, take a look at http://www.smartertools.com/smartertrack/help-desk-software.aspx I think they have a free version & whmcs module:
http://forums.smartertools.com/showthread.php/33264-SmarterTrack-Help-Desk-Module-for-WHMCS
Any others? Thanks @StormVZ btw
ArcticDesk
Overrated and overpriced.
If you want quality, you would still have to go with Kayako.
Trust me, its worth it.
Gone with that. I love it so far.
I want to, but $29/month is expensive for a helpdesk. Are there any resellers that sell them cheaper?
If you're going to spend $30/month get DeskPRO - it's better than Kayako. If you want something cheaper there's still Sirportly and Zendesk who have free and nearly free options.
If you want something more the just a helpdesk system, check out sysaid.
@jhadley @MikHo - need something that integrates with WHMCS in some way. Don't want them completely separate.
Zendesk integrates and there's a nearly free version at $20/year.
Will look into it.
Vision Helpdesk, you may have a look at.
ArcticDesk
May I ask why you are doubting WHMCS? I think of it as the industry standard, next best to developing your own system. Open to debate, of course.

@dominicl - The ZenDesk integration module has failed on us before, but we wrote our own and would be happy to help you out if you went that route.
Alternatively - though it doesn't "integrate" (as it's email-only customer facing, with a KB) we beta tested Groove Helpdesk, and it's pretty awesome, also has built in live chat and a free option, and is stable-released now: http://groovehq.com/
Could you please let me know what problems you found with the Admod integration and how your integration addresses them? I might find that useful.
Looks good, thanks!
redmine ^^
Being a hipster host won't get you any more profit.
Looks pretty good.
Holy shit, that's amazing, even better than Kayako, you definitely widen my scope but the price is...
