softether
What about the SSH one? (Haven't tried, but it uses the same tun module to work)
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VPN_over_SSH
How? I've looked for this, but couldn't find anything about it.
You mean you couldn't find this site: https://www.softether.org/ ? This is the first result that comes up when you query Google for softether.
Can I install proxy on it ?
Thats great that you found that! However my problem was not finding Softether, but finding how to install Softether on a NAT server.
same way you install it on normal server lol
lol
I think @jamesme is looking for step-by-step instructions.
a member did this http://blog.lincoln.hk/blog/2013/03/19/softether-on-vps/
This script will install softether on a NAT server
https://github.com/eunas/gotdeb
You can use http://tinc-vpn.org/
No, because SoftEther is automatically installed on default ports.
Thank you, Ill check that out.
anyone here ever tried natvps from quadhost? do you only got a dedicated ipv6?
and how the heck i can install dropbear and vpn on this natvps
You cant mess it up with this tutorial: http://az.cokh.net/softether-vpn-server-on-a-nat-server/
you simply change these during setup
i can help if you wan to install softether on NAT server,
I've yet found any instruction as to how to configure the Softether server on a NAT server so that the native L2TP client in Windows, iOS and android can be used. If anyone here knows please shed some light on it.
Pretty sure you can't as you'd need to pass GRE as well as the L2TP control channel, what you could probably do is set it up so the native SSTP found in windows 7 and above (might even be in vista can't remember for sure) would work.
That is mainly what I would be looking for as well.
If your server uses one-to-one NAT mapping similar to Amazon EC2, try my VPN scripts in signature.
It won't work for LowEndSpirit-style NAT though, where you only get a range of ports on a shared IPv4.
Will let you know when i'd managed to install one.
