  • How you getting on with the OVH debacle?

Hi, It went well. The servers were put back on-line, we have now been running without any issues for months now :)

    Kind regards,

  • No no, I mean the fact they're now charging for IP's.

Oh, I haven't heard about this yet! We have our IP addresses, just enough for the nodes, no problems faced just yet. We are hoping to move away from then shortly anyway.

Have emails been sent out about this OVH change? First I've heard :(

    King regards,
    domVPS

  • tl;dr: In short, no more one time payment IP blocks. So if your prices are based around that, well, 'good luck.'

We have always paid monthly for IP addresses at OVH.

  • Sorry to bring this up again - so are you using Kimsufi? If so, you'll want to check that as they're now limiting the number of IP's on a Kimsufi to 5 IIRC.
