Weird, the order page shows 2 x 2TB drives for the 08164, but the documentation only shows 2 x 1TB drives.
    Also showing different CPUs.

  • I currently have this - really interested in the 08164 but cannot see that it's worth it.. decisions! ;-)

    Had trouble setting up raid0.
Do you have to do it in rescue mode?

    Well, ordered the 15,99 E3 1220 and got a E3-1220 V2, which is better.

    Thanked by 1vimalware
  • 111 MB/s for RAID 0 ? Hmmm !

  • These latest offers are pretty much ECC RAM for rent: 1 euro / GB.

The CPU is just frosting on the cake.

You can reinstall via their panel. Really reliable and great uptime (mines have been up for more than 1 year :-) )

  • Got a 08161. Kind of glad I subscribed to this site finally!

  • No Raid - I like living on the edge :P I haven't had good experiences with HW Raid so i'm just going to disable raid and sync backup content between the disks. If the OS drive fails - no biggy, just a re-install.

  • Bit the bullet finally... First Dual Xeon :P Lets see how it goes...will be idle for a while though !

  • No luck for me. Ordered when 10 available. Had to confirm phone number when ordering. sadly the confirmation code took too long to arrive somehow. now out of stock...

  • Got the 1230v3 one.

Unfortunately it seems you can only have 1 additional IP-Address with the basic support level.

  • How much is additional ip address??

How much is additional ip address??

    1.99€/month + 2.99€ setup per IP

    59.99€/month + 2.99€ setup for a /27 block

Disclaimer: I love soft raid, but...

You are mitigating nothing doing that. Disks are plugged to the raid controller, so if it fails it will trash your jbod.

What you are doing is adding another point of failure.
