Test file for UK not working, what are the spec of the boxes in the UK and which DC?

  • @W1V_LEE Fixed, HTTP wasn't started ;)

Located in Rapidswitch's DC. Box is 2x Xeon E5520 48GB RAM 6x300GB SAS.

    Works fine for me

and it's definately 2GB ram on the UK offer for $6.95 a month? Seems a lot, not that I am complaining.

for that money I will have a slice. :)

  • Any chance of something like your Germany deal in UK? In terms of RAM/price -- I can live with 20GB disk.

Also, whatever you're doing to expand in so many locations and still offer perfect service.. keep doing it.

I see one UK server on the status page and 128 of those 2GBs available on WHMCS. Either it's a mistake, some servers aren't listed or you're overselling the living daylights out of that node.

If it's one of the first two, I'll order. If it's the last one, I'll pass.

Good price, but bandwidth is expensive in UK right?

  • @mpkossen

Don't worry, we will not be sticking 128 on the node. When this node is approximately half full we will be deploying another UK node. We will only put as many VPS's on the node as it can handle without a loss of performance.

  • @jcaleb When you have good contacts... not so much :)
@ihatetonyy UK will be full price for a while.. drop us a ticket though and we'll try work something out.

Thanks. Any burst/vSwap with that or is it 2GB hard limit?

  • @mpkossen It's 1.5 Dedicated 512MB Vswap.

    Phil

  • how many cpu cores in uk?

  • @asakaza 4 Same as every other location :-)

  • Very, very nice.
