    Wow even cheaper than LES

  • Damn I should had grabbed this about a few hours ago but grabbed a monthly plan for $3 elsewhere. Any connectivity tests to Asia (China, HK) other than you guys running your scripts?

  • It screams downtime to me. Lets hope the provider is decent though

  • Dang! Out of stock :(

the website is down too :)

  • Be aware for Fortascam techniques I guess :)

  • And website is now down, connection timed out. Probably some scam, but for $2/y even if it lasts a few months would be great.

Sentris was pretty terrible back in the day. I had a customer pickup 8 boxes from them and ordered a "private LAN". He ended up getting an 8 port 10/100 hub. He had a ton of dead drives or arrays not actually being arrays. In the end they refused to only prorate the boxes and ate 50% of what hebpaid in even though it was only used for ~72 hours.

It reminds me fully of my days in Portland.

    50% increase! Those bastards!

For things where I don't care if it's down for a day (which aren't many), I don't mind using some bargain basement provider.

However...it means giving my personal info to bargain basement provider, and that's what usually stops me.

  • Seems it's had more than enough of ppl data for they mail spam database.
Compared it with their other plans seems nonsense though.

Actually the server is pretty stable.
It's fast and responsive, low ping from my location, good I/O.

Non bloated node. fast customer support.

Not bad for $2.99 / year.
