Users can trigger them on their own. It does take your VPS down as we (by choice) don't use ploop for the time being. We've had a few users lose their VM's to ploop bugging out (it growing incorrectly, it restarting incorrectly, etc).

According to http://wiki.buyvm.net/doku.php/backups it is free, with a limit of 3 snapshots per VM.

IWStack supports them and you can also download if you have chosen the ISO to be extractable when you registered it.
Our Win server SPLA templates cannot be downloaded, though, due to licensing possible issues.
No snapshot is free, however, iwzip, which uses the same infrastructure, allows for a free one.

Hello and Happy new year , long time not see you !

  • I am tempted by Lunanode for ages. Looking up their next offer due date.

@perennate : Ceph Volumes coming to France? ETA?

Those $12 credits are probably never going to be touched just like my Vultr account balance.

Off topic : has anyone ever told you that you have malware in your name/nick?

We expect 1-2 months. Waiting for first server to fill up.
