Anyone actually use Proxmox and provide the web-interface for customers?

Proxmox is not ready for production use for VPS nodes in my eyes.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to make client accounts in proxmox. Admittedly, I've given it a solid 5 minutes of trying.

  • Personally, I've gotten Proxmox working perfectly fine on my dedicated server. @TheHackBox can probably talk about his "client account" on proxmox I have up but honestly I haven't looked too into it as an actual commercial use web-interface (right now its all personal).

  • I think @Prometeus had some Proxmox offer before, but I am not sure if they still do.

Yes, for the Windows 2008RC2 plans. It is still on for the Biz plans, but LET offer is sold out for months, maybe will do another in the future.

Here (CrownCloud), we have 1 node with proxmox, it's pretty easy to add users to it and restrict permissions and stuff :-)
