So, I have a WorldStream dedicated server here that I don't really need right now so I want to rent it out or sell it completely.
Specs:

50 TB Traffic
CentOS 5.8 32-bit
SLA 1

It has 100 mbps port on it, 50 TB incoming/outgoing/month.

  • @ajones what does a "slot" buy?

  • Access to an account with sudo permissions, just cannot modify other users.

If it wasn't for the poor CPU I'd snap this up.

  • It is not really a bad CPU, it runs quite fine.

Doesn't that make it even worse?

    It wasn't prior to @joepie91 's post.

  • Okay then @GetKVM_Ash

@ElliotJ go ahead and think that, but I'll happily prove you wrong any day of the week.

  • 100 Mbit/s port is 32.4 TB/month , how you came out with 50 TB ?

  • TBH anyone caught ddosing or selling ddos services should be banned. Scum. No nicer way to put it.

It is what worldstream was offering, 50 TB traffic monthly(reset every month)

So if ecatel were to come here they'd be banned? Their datacenter all its used for is dos.

I have never seen an Ecatel offer saying, "DOS/DDOS is ALLOWED", in big bold letters at the top especially, and in case I didn't understand that, you were generous enough to write it for me under every plan description.

They're measuring inbound is what I would suspect.

If you ask them, they clearly say in tickets "Spoofing is allowed/enabled" and they don't scan for DOS on 100 mbps ports, but on 1000 mbps ports they make you pay 25 EUR more for ability to spoof but still they don't scan for DOS.
