Constantly dropping routes, so site gets down
It's been a issue for more than a week
Can't open a ticket (their website is down too) so got to start a thread here.

My servers working fine though. Just the main site that's down for me.

@miTgiB - Hopefully he'll get an email to his phone, probably already knows though :P

Doesn't sound like @mitgib. Although the main site is down currently.

  • I just signed up last week and I've noticed a lot of network drop outs from the beginning. I've just been giving it some time to see if it's temporary, or if this is the way it normally is.

Looks like I signed up just in time for the fun.

  • Yup, issues here too.

@david @jamson Which location? I'm in NC and I've not had a single issue for weeks..

LA for me. It seems to go in stages of being solid, then dropping in and out. It's usually only a few minutes, but i assumed it was just me since nobody else was reporting issues.

  • My vps in LA is down too.

Pretty sure they've been having some DDOS problems in LA recently?

  • My VPS in LA is down too.

  • Oops forgot tagging him. In case someone is curious...

    It's the Los Angeles location.

  • My server is up now, but I still want to know what's happened.

Just wait for Tim to get up, it's night for him right now.

I'm sure he'll post an update then.

From Klikli's graph it looks like it's been going up and down.

Yeah, this. No point repeatedly asking here or opening support tickets, just wait for Tim to reply.

Are they using QuadraNET by any chance? Our servers there were unreachable just then but came back up again after awhile. Not sure what happened, but looking into it myself..

It's not only you. I've been having these downtime since early feb/march and have since abandoned the vps on LAX. I submitted ticket but it was never taken seriously because it was a short burst of downtime, from random 5 mins to 15 mins.

I really wanted to get back to using the vps because seriously hostigation offers the most amazing and weird iso.

  • As i have a BGP session with them, yes, i see them drop too.

  • @cosmicgate, which vps type do you use? kvm or openvz?

  • cosmicgatecosmicgate Member

@Mowd: kvm, because i like their choice of iso. really weird stuffs.

  • oh no, I just jump out of kiloserve, don't tell me I jump into another nightmare...

  • No, you haven't.

Someone go slap Kate at Quadranet

  • Hmm, Quadra told me they had an issue with a line card which is now fixed, not sure if it's the same issue.

Not real sure, Kate left no IM overnight, and I just woke up, had a few customers that left a ticket it was out for 30 minutes, but I have no attack logs from the router, so I am guessing it may be related.

EDIT: Just received response from Quadranet support that it indeed was the line card
