  • It says "no promo needed".

Why would anyone need to use your ref link to qualify?

that just sounds like you get $25 directly with the referral link

  • Anyone know how long the credit lasts? I don't wanna be stuck with $25 unused credit like at DO

I don't feel like giving out my data for $25-$5.

Who am I kidding. I went with runabove's free desktop worth 3 months of £30-£60 giving out my details for the my third time(1.closed account, 2. stupid ban).

You really need to add money, DC/CC and contact details.

Gosh why does it have to "last" for some specific time, why are you all so used to taking this b/s from greedy scamholes like DO and Vultr?

The Linode credit does not expire.

  • Ok. Didn't know that or could find it on google.

We are "well-educated" consumers "well taught" to buy servers.

I hope you understand the "joke".

  • Just got new linode account with some free credits, well it's good to have to do some short testing/developing.

  • Great, thank you!

  • anyone know if they're doing what they did last year - giving $25 credit to existing customers who put the same amount on account?

  • Might be interesting to try them but damn, they are quite expensive, like I wouldn't stay there once the 25buck are spent (which is going to be fast, as their smaller plan is 10 bucks a month)

    I'll pass, no thanks.

Whats wrong with Linode, why they against PP method.
Even I have CC, I feel more secure do the payment through PP.

For the volume of transactions they do, linode will get a pretty sweet deal on transaction fees from their merchant. They possibly can't use other payment methods under this agreement. Repeat transactions also a lot less hassle than PayPal.

I think you can trust linode to act responsibly with your cc details.

I just signed up here to post this.

I signed up just before 2 days of the sale and I felt I should have waited. Contacted them and instantly without any questions credited me $25. That;s awesome and love the linode team.
