Alternative to UserVoice?

MikePTMikePT Moderator, Patron Provider, Veteran

Hello,

Does anyone here a similar service to UserVoice? I need the ability to allow users to make posts as feature requests and a voting system, like https://digitalocean.uservoice.com/forums/136585-digitalocean

UserVoice plans start at 499USD, I need something cheaper, only need like 100 maximum user accounts.

http://userreport.com - Although they market mainly as a survey taking app , but they also have a feedback thing (similar to UserVoice , but better IMO), with the same interface as their survey taking tool .

    • It is free
    • Has a voting system
    • Not sure about how many users you can have per account/website .

$499/month?? Not so long ago it was about $15. Their egos have grown to almost the size of GetSatisfaction's.

Useresponse is ok. A bunch of helpdesks offer this as part of the package - I think Zendesk has something similar, as does DeskPRO. Probably others too.

  • We're not a perfect fit for your use-case, but as a more general solution, perhaps give PlushForums a look for $49/mo. The reputation system could be leveraged for tracking popular requests, with the added benefits of polls and Q&A format available, which might be useful.

For nixstats I started using userreport, it's not as good as uservoice but it gets most things done pretty well.

Why not just a forum? What is offered by these services that a forum can't?

Yea, I'm curious too. Some companies from my country use it too.

    Why it is so special?

IMO , a forum would be an overkill for such a task.
