To be honest now with the release of the 3 EUR Scaleway cloud there's much less of a reason to hoard Kidechires. The Scaleway ones are always available and really are a comparable value at their new pricing.

  • Ordered one. Any idea if I'll have to pay a foreign transaction fee, having paid with my US debit card?

  • I was too late, but maybe it's better that way. I didn't need one anyways.

yes, but how much depends on the bank. one of mine charges a few cents, the other charges the same as what the server costs

  • DrSteveBrule said: Any idea if I'll have to pay a foreign transaction fee, having paid with my US debit card?

Depends on the bank's policy. My first 5 months or so incurred foreign transaction fees but then my bank suddenly stopped charging fees (probably because it became a regular payment).

I'm UK based though, not sure about US.

My WholesaleInternet $10 server had a lot more hours then that!

  • Ordered 10 last time.

    I think ill pass. :P

Not sure...I paid with my Paypal Debit card that is connected to my bank account so in a day or so when the charge shows up I'll see what it is. Right now Paypal just shows a $1.56 pending charge from Online.net.

  • Got one too, thanks bro!

  • Too late :(

  • Let it go man,
Already have 3 doing nothing so far.

  • and its gone. i always seem to be missing these

  • Nice, hard drive is only 2 years old and no errors or reallocated sectors...I usually get drives from the dinosaur age.

  • Missed this one for the nth time.

  • In all seriousness, it's a disgusting practice and completely at odds with a community spirit. Given the risks in doing it due to the fact the original owner gets billed for extras, I don't think threads offering outsourced ltd edition servers have any place here.
