Paid of free? Windows or linux? Hosted or Self Hosted?
@Zen Link to your site please.
Either is fine.
Prefer Linux.
Either is fine, however prefer self-hosted.
This is for LEB/LET or some unrelated project?
Arctic Desk by LicensePAL, BoxBilling (The help desk only?), Hesk, UserVoice ?
What about: http://www.arcticdesk.com/
How do you expect people to use that help desk :P
A complete system is sysaid.
Last time I checked there was a free and paid version.
Ain't that a bit too much of basic helpdesk?
Sysaid is more then a helpdesk system, but you font need to ise everyrhing on it
There's also Vision Helpdesk
http://www.thevisionworld.com
If it's for leb/let project the more appropriate TTS to use is:
Trollis on Derails
:-)
Kayako is nice ;-) 29$ for 1 staff
vision is great also
We use hosted one - uservoice.com and it's just amazing!
I think Chief is aware of that Ranty! :P
Opps. hmm. HESK is another option . neat and clean easy to setup also
ZenDesk?
SirPortly, also has a WHMCS module -> http://sirportly.com/
ZenDesk
Comm100 may be in line for a complete solution..
Zopim and clickdesk may come for chat..
OSticket for ticketing service also good..
Hesk more usable in knowledgebase since it's ticket system was only basic things..
It has been a dead project for years, isn't it?
ClientExec?
Zendesk worked pretty well when trialling it
Not sure how active this still is, but looks interesting... a mod for SMF:
http://www.simpledesk.net/
Another reason why I am addicted towards SMF.
For LEB, interim measure as we are not communicating with the hosts effectively. Currently writers pull offers from the queue and from there forward they deal with that 1 writer, this will turn the replies over quicker.
Thanks for the ton of options, i'll go through them all and see.
The open sourced the new version.... http://www.accord5.com/trellis
+1 on arcticdesk! really promising helpdesk. They are in beta right now and but their feature set is already quite huge. You can try them right now for free and help in testing a great product.
I think the best for free are trellis and osticket... But unfortunately seems both of them are not being developed again.. Anyway, I think we can still use the current version as it's pretty useable..
Thanks..
How about FreshDesk? Saw them at TechCrunch NY and they seemed pretty good.
