I'm looking to create a tech blog website. Does anyone have a good HTML/HTML5 guide?
A recent guide would be good. Cutting edge sort of stuff even better.
I would Google but I'm lazy.

I'm lazy too.

w3schools
Checkout nettuts or tutsplus they have some good material for HTML and other web development stuff.
Thanks for the info!
If it's a blog, why not use something like Wordpress?
Hmmm not a fan of WordPress. Way too many security vulnerabilities.
Fix them.
WordPress is fine if you don't install any 3rd party extensions.
Have your installation audited, fix the bugs, voila -- you now have a proper WordPress blog.
If you want to go for a blog, I don't thing you should go with a static website. Or code one yourself if you are not an expert.
Sill, you can go with some alternates, Joomla, Drupal etc.
WP has issues but it's also kept on updating...
http://codecademy.com is fun. Learn some PHP while you're at it to make a dynamic website.
Dynamic websites are overrated.
Sure, but comments can be interesting sometimes!
@heartbleed there are several markdown to html systems in php or python. It would generate clean pages and be easier than writing html yourself. (Don't have the names on top on my head, maybe another member can help?)
This is the age of CMS...if you are doing it for fun.....then use WordPress...there is no need for learning coding... Just message me I will set you up WordPress on your hosting
@noaman
neat, could you please recommend me good hosting for Wordpress?
Do you charge anything for the setup?
Codecademy is pretty good.
@kupol
Well since you are learning...I will do the setup for free..
Well this forum is for hosting...simply create a new discussion of the hosting requirements... And people will help you out..
