What is the CPU. If the 1gbps bandwidth is trully unmetered and it is achievable to push over 200mbps monthly, it is worth it.
0/10 none of the specs are low end at all
Its a good server though.
CPU?
Server grade HD? OR WD blue?
CPU Intel I7
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
NO ECC
anyways, what is it worth?
The new ivy bridge i7's perform well, too bad it is not server-grade.
Damn. Hm. Was hoping to get something out of it.
I struggle with the definition of server grade CPU. Seems little more than marketing to me. That said, I stick to the Xeon because that's what people want, but I still don't get it.
Well, I could of got AMD processor.
I7 is a great CPU. Which model is it?
One that supports ECC RAM. By the way, AMD's desktop marketed CPUs support ECC, so they are OK for servers. I am sure intel core i7, etc. also have the ECC support in the silicon, it is just disabled due to stupid intel marketing rules.
